Dear 217 Community,
We hope everyone had a great summer! In less than one week, we welcome back our students into a scaffold-free building! We are energized and ready for the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
Beginning Tuesday, September 6th and 7th, our teachers will be reaching out to all families, introducing themselves and providing classroom numbers.
Opening day is September 8th. Main entrance doors (Newkirk Ave.) open at 7:30 a.m. for students who would like to have breakfast in the cafeteria. All other doors open at 7:50 a.m. Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Arrival

Parents will escort students to their classroom. Please enter through
the ramp located in the front of the building on Newkirk Ave. *Doors
open at 8:10 a.m.

Students will be dropped off at the back of the cafeteria. *Doors
open at 7:50 a.m.
|
|
|
Students will enter through the doors near the playground (corner of
Newkirk Ave and Coney Island) *Doors open at 7:50 a.m.
|
|
|
Students will enter through the side doors on Westminster Rd. *Doors
open at 7:50 a.m.
|
Dismissal
|
|
|
|
|
Parents will pick up their children in the classroom. Please enter
through the ramp located in the front of the building on Newkirk Ave.

Parents will pick up their children in the auditorium. Please enter
through the ramp located on the Coney Island Avenue side.
|
|
|
Students will be dismissed on the track located in the back of the
building.

Ave. Please look for your child’s teacher’s name located on the
gate.
